When is the last day to place a pre-order or add-ons?

Sunday, April 2nd at 11:59 PM PDT. This is also when orders will be locked and charged for first payment. (Kickstarter supporters will only be charged if they added any add-ons).

A second charge will happen later when shipping costs are accurately added right before products are ready to be shipped.

Why is BackerKit asking for my credit card if I already have shipping credit?

For Early Bird pledges, shipping was included on Kickstarter so you should be able to see the additional shipping in your pledge on BackerKit as credit - which means you can use it for additional items or keep it as credit until shipping costs are calculated for it to be adjusted (if need be).

When we get closer to the product being ready for shipmennt, then accurate shipping costs will be added and so that number may be adjusted - hence, BackerKit is asking just to keep the card on file.

How will shipping be collected?

Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping a month or two before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards.

We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey - this would be a separate charge from add-ons (there will be a second charge specifically for shipping).

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - Notice of Customs and VAT Fees: It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to stay informed of any customs fees or VAT taxes that may be applicable to your purchase order. The seller is not liable for customs fees or VAT taxes that your country or the importer charges you for purchasing overseas, nor is the seller responsible for any delivery delays due to customs.

We are not responsible for trade restrictions or customs allowances. Please know what is legal for import before ordering.

At this time, we will not reprint or restock the deck so this will be a limited print.

Do you accept returns, exchanges, or refunds?

Since this is a limited print of an independently-made deck, we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds. The only exception that is made is if we made an error in shipping incorrect or missing items.

  • Please note that you have a limited amount of time to retrieve your package from the post office. If you do not pick up the package within the applicable time frame, your country may will ship the package back to us, and it may be lost in the shipping process altogether. We are not responsible for replacing or refunding any orders lost at customs because of your delay in picking up the package.

  • Any misplaced or stolen packages will not be replaced. Duties and Fees will not be covered.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure your shipping address is correct and up-to-date. If your order is shipped to the incorrect address, we are not responsible for replacing or refunding any orders that are lost because of your mistake.

We will announce a deadline for final shipping addresses in BackerKit - PLEASE make sure your shipping address is up to date and you check your email often. MAY 2023: Shipment prepped and ready to send out our wonderful backers. Backers will receive a tracking number - again, make sure your email is correct and active.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
